Trophy Striper on the fly is my specialty. I have many years and HUNDREDS of fly caught Striper images to back it up.
Visiting the Music City? Give us a call! One hook up with one of these monsters will leave you wanting more for the rest of your life. There's nothing like them in freshwater. On the fly, they are a force to be reckoned with. This is not your typical indicator watching guide trip... Come prepared to throw big rods, heavy lines, and some flies that work so well, they ought to be outlawed.
Let us take you to the best fishing tennessee has to offer
Trout caught during a Shad hatch. These typically happen in winter and spring. Thousands of shad get pulled through the dams where some die and some live to school up and do their best to survive the onslaught of hungry Trout awaiting.
Michael Anderson
As the Fly Fishing TN Guide Service Owner I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. I've been fishing Tennessee and the surrounding states my entire life. Although the Caney Fork River and Cumberland River are my Home waters, I'm not tied to them. Depending on the season and river conditions there is no telling where I'll be on any given trip.
I began my fishing career more than 30 years ago with a Zebco 33 and a Panther Martin spinner in a little creek when I turned old enough to ride a bicycle. I grew up getting to know the areas fisheries like the back of my hand. Later in life, I spent a good amount of time chasing largemouth bass in high powered bass boats and doing the tournament game. I soon grew tired of that and wanted something with a little more fight. That’s when I became a dedicated trophy fish on the Fly hunter. Fly Fishing Tennessee is my passion and always will be. I have been fishing in many places and I have to say. There's no place like home when it comes to fishing diversity.

Jarrod White
Jarrod has spent over 20 years learning all of the details of casting, equipment, entomology and fly tying. Jarrod has learned everything he knows about the ins and outs of fly fishing by spending days, weeks, and years on various waters across the United States while chasing several species of fish on the fly.
In 2002 he realized fly fishing wasn’t just a passion for him. It had become a way of life. That’s when he started a small, part time guiding service in East Tennessee. During that time he continued learning not only about the fish and what it takes to catch them, but he also learned a lot about the fishing guide business and what it takes to earn a client and make sure they have a great experience.
He moved to middle Tennessee in January of 2007 to guide on a full time basis and we are glad to have him on our roster of guides here at Trophy Fishing Tennessee. Jarrod is friendly, patient, a good teacher and has some great stories to share on the river.
